Catches.io Release Notes — May 27, 2026 Today we shipped several improvements across Catches.io focused on usability, clarity, reliability, and the foundation for new functionality. Improved public pages We refreshed several public-facing pages to better explain what Catches.io does and how customers can use it to find, backorder, and track expiring domains.
Updates include: Clearer messaging around domain backorders and auctions Improved homepage and pricing-page copy Better page titles and descriptions for search engines and link previews Cleaner presentation across key public pages Better support for domain backorder and drop-catching education pages Better expiring domain discovery We improved how the site presents expiring-domain search and backorder workflows, making it easier for visitors to understand how to move from search to action.
Pricing and backorder clarity The pricing experience now does a better job explaining: Backorders starting at $25 No upfront payment for placing a backorder Paying only when a domain is successfully caught What happens when multiple buyers want the same domain Admin and operations improvements We updated the internal admin experience so our team can operate Catches.io more efficiently and support customers faster.
This includes: A redesigned admin command center Improved admin navigation Better visibility into domain renewal risk More reliable operational dashboards Public API progress We continued building the foundation for public API access, including early support for API documentation and access-management workflows.
This is part of our broader goal to make Catches.io more useful for power users, domain investors, and teams who want to integrate domain data into their own workflows.
Visual and layout polish We made several design and layout improvements across the app, including: Better dashboard behavior on large screens Improved default dark-mode experience for logged-out users More consistent page styling Cleaner public page presentation Behind-the-scenes reliability and security We also shipped internal improvements that help keep Catches.io more stable and safer as we continue building.
These include: Better build checks Secret-scanning protections Search-engine sitemap cleanup Structured-data improvements Internal quality and deployment safeguards We’re continuing to improve Catches.io quickly, with a focus on making domain discovery, backordering, auctions, and account workflows easier to understand and easier to use.
